Hi Ian,
I just thought you would like to know that Daniel's golf is progressing well and indeed I have had several reports back from recent matches on both how well he plays but also how well he handles himself on and off the course.  I thought I should keep you updated as both you and your team at the Tiger Club are a big part of the reason Daniel plays the game in the right manner.
thanks again,
Richard Jackson

What a brilliant day we had on Sunday at what must surely be the highlight of the Tiger Club golfing year! This is the second Team Cup I’ve been to and any parent reading this will be heartened to know that their children will make a significant improvement to their game within a one year period if they stick to a routine, attend Tiger Club regularly and participate in events such as the Tiger Team Cup! I was proud to watch my own son and so many other highly enthusiastic youngsters turn out for Sunday’s big event!  As always the whole day was well planned and managed.  Everything seemed to go so smoothly but most of all the players all seemed to have such a magnificent day.  Even the European Tour organisers would be impressed with the show put on last Sunday! I’m always so impressed with the standard of golf I see at competitions such as this.  Most of all I enjoy watching the team spirit, fun and course discipline shown by the youngsters.

I’ve already been to my local bookmakers and got the odds going in favour of Luke’s team winning next year!

Tiger Team Cup 2010

What can i say, yet another brilliant day for all.

Olivia may have been the captain, but i can honestly say i think this was one of the best tiger cups yet (even though her team did loose).  Once again the weather was really kind after having been forcast for a really wet weekend the sun came out every now and then and it stayed dry.  Harry and Alex played the flute brilliantly, Both Callum and Olivia delivered great speaches and did a great job at their drive in's and everyone around seemed to be having a wonderful day and i dont just mean the kids who played.

The prizes that were up for grabs were the best ever and well done to Ben Warne for winning his sky caddy, which he truley deserved as he was so good with his opposition little Joe freeman and although he was winning he gave away huge putts and even let hom take another Tee shot without penalty to give im some confidence as he wasnt having his best game. (needless to say Ben did win his match).

My thanks go out to Ian, Luke, John, Matt, Pat for all their hard work and everyone else who helped also to Darryl for a brilliant slide show and Mark for another great programme even though i do want to kill him for the photo of me!!!.

Once again thank you tiger club you made a little girl every happy and even her brother too as he was on the winning team.  Next year LUKE you will do it and hopefully Olivia will be on your team then too.

Hi Guys!!!! ya-hoo

As a whole, The Tiger Club is a fantastic experience. It gets kids who might be on the streets and lets them have fun in a safe environment with professionals teaching them and having a laugh with friends that they'll definitely make. Mill Green's Tigers acts as a family outside your own family... as my mum always says: "All we need is a bed!". The coaches; Ian, John, Luke and Matt love teaching new things to us and want you to go to the farthest possible point in your golfing career, they want to give you the best they can.

For me, going to Tigers is a breath of fresh air, a rest from the real world of school, homework and the dreaded exams! I got good enough to go to the intermediates, which plays on the main course, but I still play with the tigers even now when I play for Hertfordshire's county U14 squad and moved into the juniors! The pros have supported me and others throughout our time at Tigers and gave us lessons until we couldn't take it in anymore! The Mill Green Tiger Club is EXTREMELY lucky in having now 4 great coaches that'll make you learn AND make you have a bundle of fun. In fact coming into my last year, I am very jealous of Tigers that join now and I can only wish that they have the success and enjoyment that so many Tigers have experienced. I wish I could do it all over again!

Toodles!!!

Just like to add my thanks for a great Adult and Child golf day.  My son and I ended up winning, but even if we hadn't we both enjoyed the day very much.  Thanks for arranging it all.

Hello to all South Herts Tigers

I really enjoyed my visit to you today and saw some great golf shots. Mike used to teach my son 11 years ago and it was lovely to see his passion for teaching has resulted in the Tiger Club at South Herts.

I hope you like your pictures on the website (coming in the next few days) and that you will email me at pat@thetigerclub.com to let me know which picture is you.

Hope to see you all again soon

keep enjoying your golf.

Hello to all Tigers and Parents

It was lovely to see you all at todays medal and the presentation to Ian & Jo.

I was especially thrilled to be greeted by Joseph Cinnamon running up to me to tell me he had taken 6 shots of his game and his handicap would be coming down. Well done!

ya-hoo

I will definately be out to watch you all play golf very soon.

Keep enjoying yourselves.

What a great day the Adult and Tiger competition was!  Whilst we didn't win anything how often do you get to take your youngster out on the golf course and participate in a fun competition together?  The chipping competition was more challenging for the adults than the kids and thanks to the volunteers who set this up.

Our son loves his weekend golf with all his friends at the Tiger Club.  I only wish I'd started playing this young.  Well done to Ian, John, Luke, and all the team for keeping the club thriving for our kids.
