A special set of rules have been created for all Tigers to ensure
you keep your spirits up and allow you to get the most out of the
game.
Some rules are further illustrated by following the links so feel
free to have a look!
General Rules ...
Rule 1 -
SHOW RESPECT
Respect for the Club, for your Course, for your Pro, for your
Parents, for your Playing Partners, for your Equipment and for the
Rules
Rule 2 - KEEP SAFE
Be aware of what / how is around you when you are taking a practice
swing or playing a shot. Remember to stand behind and away
from others who are playing their shots.
Competition Rules ...
Rule 3 - THICK ROUGH
Drop out of the rough at the nearest point of entry, no nearer the hole. 1 stroke penalty
Rule 4 -
LOST BALL
Drop new ball at nearest point of entry, no nearer the hole. 1
stroke penalty
Rule 5 - BUNKERS
After 3 failed attempts to get out of a bunker the ball may be
dropped at the side the bunker no nearer the hole. No penalty (ie:
only count the 3 failed shots)
Rule 6 -
PUTT OUT
The ball must be putted out to complete each hole (Unless using 'The 9 Rule').
We like the sound of the ball hitting the bottom of the cup and we
want your brain trained to like it as well !
Rule 7 -
THE '9' RULE
A maximum score of 9 on any one hole may be taken. After your 9th
shot, pick up the ball and record a 9 on the card. This will keep
your moral up and the pace of play flowing
FIRST & LAST Rule -
BE HAPPY
Make sure you have a smile on your face and enjoy the round no
matter how it is going. No one plays well every time so you should
not expect to
