The England Eastern Regional Wee Wonder qualifiers saw a number of
Tigers out to play all hoping for a chance to go all the way through to
the Grand Final in St Andrews, Scotland and possibly earn a place on the
GB & Ireland team to play in next years world championships at Pinehurst.
Only one boy and girl in each age group qualifiers for the Eastern
Regional finals to be held at Aldwickbury on 1st July with the Grand
Final scheduled for 25th & 26th of August at the Balgrove Course in St.
Andrews.
The Wee Wonders format for the Qualifiers and Regional Final is a flag
competition with all players receiving 36 shots regardless of age with
the winner in each category being the player whose flag is furthest
around the golf course. For the Grand Final the format changes to an 18
hole medal played as 2 nine hole medals over 2 days.

played in and the Regional Final itself are detailed below. A
competitors age for this year's competition is as of 1st September
