The Tiger Tour 2008

Tiger Club members from Mill Green and Kingsway Golf Centre, Cambridge enjoyed the thrill of a stroke play competition played over Mill Green Romany Nine, Kingsway’s Orchard Course and the Par 3 course at Redbourn.

Players competed in age groups with winners in each age group at each venue. They also were competing for the overall title of Tiger Tour Winner 2008. The idea of the tour was to celebrate junior golf and give Tiger members the chance to play in competition at different courses and to join up with Tiger members from other Clubs. After a great three weeks of competition Lewis Williams aged 12 from Mill Green Tiger Club took the title after winning his age group on the final day at Kingsway’s Golf Centre, Cambs.

Ian Parker and Mark Sturgess, Tiger Club Head Coaches commented “It was good to see so much great golf and the fun that was had by all who entered. We are already looking forward to the Tiger Tour 2009.”
