" A Kind of Magic"
was this years theme - and magical  it was !

Sunday 31st March 2008

It was Ella & Luke's "Think Pinks" vs. Josh & John's "Bouncing to Success Grey's" this year as the Tiger Team Cup gang took to the course for another great day.

The morning's uniformed parade in was followed by some introductory features on the big screen and then Rosie joined by Ella this year, sung a great rendition of Queen's 'We are the Champions".

A few speeches and then it was out to the practice range for team warm ups and pep talks before then onto the Romany Nine to get the morning doubles started.  The crowds were out in full on the day which was great for all the competitors.

There were some wonderfully close matches but in the end the Boys Team took the lead after the doubles. The afternoon was a different story starting with plenty of pink on the scoreboards fading back to a little grey with both teams in the end halving the points on offer leaving Josh and John victors by a 4 point margin.

Poor Luke, who has now been on the losing team four years in a row will have to regroup for next year as John steps aside and allows Will a chance to take it to Luke.

Thanks also to all the Sponsors, Parents, Men's / Ladies and Miller Captains for supporting the day, to all the Tiger Committee members for making the day run smoothly, but most of all to Ian, John & Luke for making it happen at all.
