Tip 3:  Crossing the Line

As you stand behind the ball looking at the hole, imagine a line between you and the ball. Whilst still on your side of the line, decide on your club, your line of play and the type of shot you plan to play. ie: do all this 'thinking' on your side of the line.
 
In practice, use the club shafts recently handed out during Tiger Club as your line. Once you perfect the technique you will be able to use an 'imaginary' line out on the course.

 

Tip 2:  Stay in the Present

 

Keep your thoughts solely on the shot you are about to play. Nothing else matters.

Keeping a diary of your best 3 shots every time you play a round of golf will ensure you take something positive away every time you play. It forms a record for you to read and remember to boost confidence next time you have similar shots to play.
