Playing Tips:
Tip 1: Setup Routine
Without the right grip, stance and ball position to begin with, the
chances of a successful strike are minimal. Create a routine and use
it.
Tip 2: Fitness is Key
You need good fitness and stamina to ensure you do not get tired on
the final few holes. Forget the chocolate and fizzy drinks, a banana
and water are best.
Tip 3: Peak Performance Diary
Keep your new Peak Performance Golf Diary in your golf bag at all
times and make sure you keep it up to date. It is a great way to set
personal goals and then to measure and monitor your progress towards
achieving them.

Tip 4: Getting The Most From Your Practice
Session

As you know I take great pleasure in seeing you all practice outside
Tiger and YMG Sessions. Below is some great advice for you to make the
best out of an hours practice session.
First 30 minutes:
Step 1 Check your peak performance diary before you go to the range, to
see what you are working on.
Step 2 Warm up for 5 minutes.
Step 3 Lie a club down on the floor parallel to the target you have
chosen.
Step 4 For the first 30 balls concentrate on your technique.
Step 5 For the second 30 balls; put your blue line down behind the ball.
Step 6 Step over line for every shot and work on your skill by aiming at
a specific target or an imaginary fairway.
Next 20 minutes:
Play par 18 and record your score in your peak performance diary
Last 10 Minutes:
Take your new putting lines to the putting green and work on your stroke
Finally:
Sign your Tiger diary and show to Ian, Luke, John or Will at your next
Tigers/YMG/Individual Session
